Certified Chef Matthew Scitney has been cooking professionally for twenty years(20+yrs) and has made many hospitality groups and restaurateurs successful due to his culinary artistry and enterprise. His attention to detail in local, seasonal ingredients makes his culinary experience for guests memorable. His ability to incorporate sustainable partnerships has afforded him the opportunity to cook for all foodies alike; pro and novice. From a business partnership view, Chef Matt has opened many concepts from scratch and helped many restaurateurs save & recover venues in need of a talented, seasoned leader in the kitchen. Chef Matt’s true passions are the rapport from satisfied guest and turning dining experiences into lifelong memories. He also enjoys teaching/training others and passing on his extensive culinary knowledge. Chef Matt’s personal favorites are seafood and steaks. When he is not in the kitchen, he is spending time with his three children, fishing for his dinner and playing acoustic guitar. He grew up in the industry as his step-Father was a chef for 30 years so he spent his childhood eating many different types of food and being exposed to many food cultures. I love everything about the industry and hope to continue cooking as long as my mind and body allow!
